Empowering Youths around the Slums of Kampala-Uganda
​Space Media started in May 2020 by five youths in a specific community (Banda Zone One, Acholi Quarters) who sat and looked at the different problems affecting the community and based on fact that it was during the time of lock down caused by the pandemic, the effect of the lock down was directly affecting the lives based on the different problems. Therefore Space media was formed to bring out/share different information to the people in the different communities by use of both physical means and social media platforms since it is easy to fully expound different issues to the mass by social media platform. Space media is therefore a vehicle of change to bring different problems affecting people in the community and find different solutions to address those problems in the community.
SPACE MEDIA has been at the forefront of making a difference in communities and young generation lives since 2020. Located at the intersection of community and life, SPACE MEDIA is a life-affirming journey that builds on the richness and power of lifelong values. We have been providing young people the values and skills they need to become exceptional community leaders. while addressing the world's problems like climatically changing world, community health and sanitation, leadership and capacity building, we are here to inspire young people through exploring their their skills and potentials in the various aspects of life like music, sports, art and craft so many more.
